This opportunity has become available due to the existing Care Manager relocating to one of our other Villages closer to home.The Care Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Feros Village Bangalow. Located in the hinterland region just 15 minutes from Byron Bay. Set in beautifully maintained gardens with walking paths and expansive views, the Village is home to 64 residents and a number of lovable pets.This role is on a 3 year fixed term contract (full time).Some of your key focuses will be:You will manage the operational management and delivery of our clinical, care and support services to our residential clients, ensuring our service delivery provides exceptional customer experience, achieves resident outcomes and service expectations; and enables our Grow Bold mission.Leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team of staff and volunteers and creating a workplace culture where everyone matters and have the opportunity to reach their best potential.Managing risk, maintaining compliance and strengthening clinical accountability. Being audit and accreditation ready in relation to village operations and outcomes for residentsFacilitate and co-ordinate care delivery in accordance with residents' individual care plans, organisational policy, procedures and duty guidelinesEnsuring the business operations are sound including a key focus on resourcing, occupancy, funding maximisation and efficient and effective systems Ensuring all governance, compliance, reporting and quality systems are strong and flawless What do I need to be successful in this role?Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years Residential Aged Care experience and a minimum of three years’ experience in people leadership and management (potentially as a Senior RN).Demonstrated knowledge in ACFI assessments and lodgement, with expertise in the Aged Care Accreditation StandardsDemonstrated experience of leading care, clinical and/or multi-disciplinary teamsDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of Work Health & Safety, Injury Management and Risk Management principles, practices and legislationDemonstrated ability to identify, rate and prioritise complex problems and issues, generate solutions and refer follow up priority issues to specialist work units/staff or other agenciesTertiary qualification in a Nursing/ Health discipline and/or BusinessCurrent AHPRA registrationWho are Feros Care?We are a multi-award winning not-for-profit organisation offering a range of aged, disability and community care services.
